This post has a lot of important things in it. There will be a tl;dr list at the end of the post if you don't want to read it all.
First off, I'm going to talk about Sage for a while. I'm postponing it, changing several things, ad probably won't pick up actual work on it until next year. The first thing I'm changing is the genre. Instead of an rpg, I'm switching it to a point-and-click game using the AGS game engine. It seems pretty easy to learn, and based on the plot-centric nature of Sage it's the best thing for me to use I think. I can have better art and less (if any at all) sprites, which will be a very happy thing for me.
Next I'm going to talk about Deep Space Diary, which is a working title. It's about a girl who gets lost in an inter-dimensional black hole. It's another point-and-click game. However, it has a different premise, and will be a very short how-do-I-use-AGS learning game, so it should be fun.
That's all you need to know about that game, and I guess this post is going to be a lot shorter than I thought it would be. See ya.
tl;dr- Sage is being turned into a point-and-click game, and is being postponed until next year. I am going to start working on another game called Deep Space Diary until then.
